Vikas Narang

Vikas Narang is a PhD candidate in Systems Engineering at Arizona State University and a Research Associate in the EcoRobotics Lab. His current research focuses on agriculture robotics, with emphasis on navigation and controls in unstructured enviornemnt.

Before joining ASU, he spent more than a decade in industry focusing on systems integration, controls, simulation, and analytics roles within Research & Technology. His work has spanned powertrain controls, machine learning, calibration, and validation across conventional and hybrid platforms.

His broader interests sit at the intersection of controls, autonomy, and data-driven engineering, with a core focus on developing safe and sustainable robotic systems
